MYTH 1: CONDITIONER INCREASES HAIR FALL

False

We naturally lose up to 50 to 100 strands a day. If you think you’re losing more hair after using a conditioner, it is the tangled and loose hair strands that are falling out as the conditioner helps detangle them. So, basically the weak strands that were bound to fall got detangled and ended up clogging your drain. Now you may be thinking, how to avoid these weak & tangled hair strands? The answer is Prime your hair!. Yes, you heard it right, use Pantene Primer before you even start shampooing your hair; it’s a pre-wash detangler that prevents tangling and breakage. Then go on with your wash as usual with Pantene Anti-hair fall shampoo and Pantene 3 Minute Miracle conditioner.

MYTH 2: NATURAL OILS ARE GOOD FOR YOUR HAIR

False

Contrary to popular belief, most raw food ingredients (like avocado oil, coconut oil, and honey) are incapable of penetrating the hair shaft deep enough to make any lasting improvement. Aside from the incapability to impact the hair, they can leave a sticky residue and leave strands feeling greasy. One does not necessarily need to apply oil. When we apply oil, we automatically use higher amount of shampoo to get rid of the oil. Instead, we should just gently massage our head and scalp to increase the blood circulation/blood flow and there will be no excessive oils for us to wash off.

MYTH 3: SPLIT ENDS CAN'T BE PREVENTED

False

You can add all the oils you want to your hair to keep the tips of your hair moisturized. But split ends are a bit like the Humpty Dumpty of the beauty world. When your end is split, you've done permanent damage to your hair's outermost layer. End of story. However, that doesn't mean you can't slow down the breakage and prevent split ends. While oils and other hair moisturizers won't turn back the hands of time, other products work wonders when it comes to hair protection like Pantene Oil Replacement that creates a protective layer that shields your locks from styling and external damage.

MYTH 4: YOU SHOULD SWITCH UP YOUR SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS.

False

The same shampoo and conditioner dispenses the same outcomes if used under similar conditions. It is sometimes the weather conditions, health problems or hormone cycles due to which the products may seem to be ineffective but blame it on the former factors. Also, choosing the suitable product is a hectic process. If there is a product that suits you well and provides excellent results on initial applications, then it is recommended not to change your products.

The other point which is very important here is to choose a product incorporated with hair-loving nourishing ingredients.
